On 19 October, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) was advised by officials of the French islands of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon that a body had been found on the beach on the western side of Miquelon. That body was positively identified as one of the crew members of the "JESSIE MARIE".
